50 New Projects For WORKNC From Paris Show

WORKNC, from Vero Software, took around 50 new projects on board at their Industrie Paris Exhibition booth.

Sales Manager Antonio Parisse say many visitors had well-defined projects for which they will be using the software, while others were interested in new developments and features in the latest release – c – especially assembled toolpaths and the new collision detection module.

As well as WORKNC, the booth also highlighted Vero brands WORKXPLORE and VISI. “Visitors were particularly impressed by the wide range of different CAD CAM solutions available through the Vero Software Group, including wire EDM with VISI PEPS Wire, VISI Modeling’s powerful solid/surface hybrid modeller and its trade oriented applications for the mould and die making sectors. And we showed WORKXPLORE’s complete high-precision 3D viewer/analyser solution, which was also running on an Android tablet.”

“The combination of solutions on display clearly demonstrated how Vero can respond positively to the increasing complex demands in all industrial sectors, especially general mechanical engineering.”

Another aspect attracting considerable attention on the booth was a robot cell created in partnership with Guignard Robotisation, based in Viry, which performed polishing and engraving operations on a Staubli TX90 under the control of WORKNC Robot, a derivative of WORKNC.

A number of parts machined with WORKNC were on display, including an aluminium model of a boat, and a boat hull machined by Atlantique Modelage Composite.

Around 20 per cent of visitors to the Vero booth were monitoring the technology developments in the software, and many asked for quotes for product upgrading and new licenses.
